Bosch Rexroth’s MAD motors are used as main and servo drives for a wide range of applications. These include machine tools, metal-forming machines, food processing and packaging machines, and printing and paper processing machines. They are members of the highly functional Rexroth IndraDyn A motor generation.

The MAD100C-0150-SA-S2-EG0-05-N1 is a compact asynchronous box motor of the MAD series by Bosch Rexroth. Fitted with the standard bearing type, it improves the operational reliability of the motor and its noiseless operation. This bearing features deep groove ball bearings and effectively absorbs low to medium radial and axial forces. It also supports high speeds, with the motor reaching a maximum speed of 9,000 revolutions per minute. Thanks to the design of the MAD motor that meets the standard of the IP 65 Ingress Protection rating per EN 60529, it can be safely operated under adverse conditions. The rating indicates that the motor is safe from the penetration of solid external materials and water jets from different directions.

Minimal maintenance is required with the use of the MAD100C-0150-SA-S2-EG0-05-N1, thanks to its easy-to-service structure. It also permits maintenance work during the motor’s operation.
