Product Description

Designed to be used in the packaging and robotics industry, the MAD100C-0100-SA-S0-BH0-05-N1 is an Asynchronous motor that can be used as a spindle or servo motor. This motor has a winding rating of 0100, a motor size 100, and a length of C. With a single absolute encoder used for position feedback, the  MAD100C-0100-SA-S0-BH0-05-N1 features a 512-increment absolute encoder that allows the motor to turn 360 degrees once 512 increments are achieved. The 512 increments allow the motor to precisely move to the position with higher accuracy.

With a rated speed of 1000 rpm and a maximum speed of 6000 rpm on standard bearings, the MAD100C-0100-SA-S0-BH0-05-N1 can be used in applications that require fast-paced action with precision. The motor consumes 5.2 watts of power and can draw around 13.2 amperes of current which makes it efficient considering the power it can output. This motor can output a continuous standstill torque of 54 Nm allowing it to be used in robotic arms that require high torque motors for their joints.

The motor relies on an Axial blowing fan for cooling and has a Thermal time constant of 30 minutes meaning it can take up to 30 minutes for the motor to heat up on continuous use. The motor emits very low noise just under 70 dB when used on full load and smooth standard bearings. It is recommended to use the motor in an environment with an ambient temperature between 0 to +40 degrees Celsius to prevent overheating and for optimum performance. The motor has an IP rating of IP 65 making its enclosure dust-tight and waterproof, however since the shaft does not come with a shaft sealing it moisture might affect the performance.
