This family of modules is specially designed to be interfaced with MAC servo drives used to control MAC servo motors manufactured by Indramat. The KDS 1.1-100-300-W1-220 is a servo drive module for use with MAC servo motors. It has a current rating of 100 Amperes and has a link circuit voltage rating of 300 Volts DC. The KDS 1.1-100-300-W1-220 is designed to operate using the cold-running technology. This technology allows the drive module to be mounted inside a control cabinet and the module’s heat loss is fed directly out of the cabinet using an external fan. Employing the cold-running technology eliminates the need for extensive heat transmission using expensive heat exchangers. The KDS 1.1-100-300-W1-220 is designed to be mounted with its heatsink and paneling protruding outside of the control cabinet.

The Indramat KDS 1.1-100-300-W1-220 belongs to the KDS series 1 model 1. It has a rated connection voltage for the mounted fan of 220 Volts AC at a frequency of between 50 Hertz and 60 Hertz. For optimal operation, Indramat recommends that the module be mounted and operated in an environment with an ambient temperature ranging from 5 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius at a maximum altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. Note that the KDS 1.1-100-300-W1-220 can withstand a maximum permissible ambient temperature of 55 degrees Celsius.
