The DM 45K 4101-D model is associated with the Servodyn-D series and it is used to operate the servo motors type SF and SR, asynchronous motors type DU, synchronous linear motors, or built-in motors. The three-phase module comes with the fully digital position, speed, and current controllers which are designed in a cascade structure. The module is equipped with a 16-bit analog interface that uses VeCon chip for the digital position, speed, and current control. The three-phase module is programmed through the standard serial interface using the DSS-D commissioning and service system. The module can take electrical connection through the 24V power supply which generates a stabilized DC link voltage of 670 VDC regulated/715 VDC non-regulated by rectifying the 3 × 400 ~ 460 V AC line voltage. The electronic rating plate of the module contains the input and output data of the connected motor and the drive controller.

The model DM 45K 4101-D uses a standard encoder interface for position control and the module comes in a standard design having 75 mm width and 6.7 kg weight. The module operating at the switching frequency of 4 kHz/8 kHz requires the rated current of 35.5/25.5 A_rms and the maximum current of 23.5/16.5 A_rms. The permissible ambient temperature range for the module is 0 to +45 degree Celsius and with the further increase in temperature from +45 to +55 degree Celsius the module will face the derating of 0.6/0.5 A/K  in the drive’s data. The climatic category of the module is 3K3 according to EN 60 721. The model provides resistance against 2 – 150 Hz vibration and it is protected by the IP20 protection category, therefore, it should be installed in the switch cabinet which confirms to IP54 protection standard.
