The model (DDC 01.2) is extensively used by manufacturers to upgrade their conventional motion control system. The DDC01.2 digital servo drive is a microprocessor-controlled servo drive used for the digital intelligent control of Indramat AC servo motors. The drive provides high operational reliability when operated in conjunction with the respective servo motor and the parts specified by Rexroth Indramat. The model is capable to take electrical power directly from the 3-phase AC 220 – 230 V power source with ±10% to ±15% augmentation. The switching frequency of the DDC01.2 drive is 4 kHz and it delivers the continuous power of 7.5 kW while operating at the continuous current of 45 A. The DDC01.2 digital servo drive is designed to operate at the rated current of 200 A, and the maximum power required by the drive unit is 22.5 kVA. The average of the basic unit is approximately 22 kg.

The model DDC01.2-N200A-DS47-00-FW is equipped with a bleeder resistor that dissipates the continuous power of 0.25 kW and the maximum regenerated power of the drive is 20 kWs. The digital servo drive dissipates 500 W of power to the surrounding air. The model uses the SERCOS interface (DSS 1.3) for developing effective communication between the drive, motor, and other I/O modules.
