Product Description:

The DDC01.1-K050B-RL25-01-FW is an intelligent digital controller designed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat to be used with AC servo motor units. This controller is built to last; it features a compact housing unit that withstands common industrial interference like water splash and dust. It is possible to modify the operation of this drive controller to meet the operation requirements of different applications; this modification is done by installing the basic unit of the controller with an auxiliary plug-in cards and a software module that matches the intended application of the controller. The fully configured controller can then be used with a compatible AC servo motor, such as the MDD motor series. This converter unit has a higher level of protection than other conventional controllers, which makes it possible to install the controller into a forward feed unit.

The DDC01.1-K050B-RL25-01-FW frequency converter is generally regarded as a maintenance-free device; however, when the controller is used in a highly polluted environment, the heatsink and blower mesh on the controller becomes too dirty. In these environments, operators are required to clean these components regularly to allow for easy heat dissipation. During motor deceleration, the controller gracefully handles the excess current supplied by the decelerating motor and converts it to heat, which is easily dissipated. The conversion of the regenerated current to heat is done using the bleeder resistor present in the converter. Flammable materials should be kept away from this resistor
