The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-CN-L3-EM-NN-FW is a control section model in Bosch Rexroth’s CSB02 family. It belongs in the BASIC range and has an extended scope interface equipment. The single-axis control section features three optional slots and a Multi-Ethernet field bus system as its master communication module. This Multi-Ethernet system supports the integration of the drive controller in Ethernet field bus systems, including SERCOS III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, or PROFINET IO. The connection point of the module complies with the IEEE 82.3 standard. In addition, there are accompanying LEDs on the control section that signal the field system's connection status.

A multi-encoder interface on the CSB02.1B-ET-EC-CN-L3-EM-NN-FW allows encoder systems with 5V and 12V supply voltage ratings to be connected to the drive controller. These encoder systems include the sin-cos encoder (1 V_pp) with Hiperface interface, the sin-cos encoder (1 V_pp) with reference track, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track SSI, and many others. It is also equipped with a Safe Torque Off (STO) safety technology module and an encoder emulation option. The encoder emulation module emulates absolute value and incremental encoder signals, which can be evaluated by the control device.
