The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-CN-L3-EC-NN-FW is a CSB02 control section model in the BASIC range by Bosch Rexroth. It is a state-of-the-art device used for the control and monitoring of electrical motors, using multiple interfaces for higher flexibility. Some of these interfaces include two multi-encoder interfaces that are compatible with encoder systems utilizing supply voltage values of 5V and 12V. Such encoder systems include the MSM and MSK motor encoders, the sin-cos encoder (1 V_pp) with Hiperface interface, and combined encoder for SSI. It also has a CANopen interface that uses two twisted two-wire, 4-pin lines with shield as its transmission medium

The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-CN-L3-EC-NN-FW is equipped with a Safe Torque Off (STO) safety module to protect users during operation. It supports the use of accessories like the HSZ01 safety module for setting up safety zones with up to 26 drive units. It can also use a HAT02 control module for safely controlling inductive loads like hydraulic/pneumatic valves and contractors. Connection points at the control section feature spring terminals and screw terminal blocks. It can be used with firmware, but these must be as specified in the operating manual.
