Product Description:
The CSB02.1A-ET-EC-PB-L3-NN-NN-FW drive controller is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. It coordinates a single servo axis in industrial automation, closing current, speed, and position loops for motors that power pick-and-place stations, conveyors, or assembly presses. The module brings network connectivity, feedback processing, and machine-level safety into one compact unit, simplifying cabinet layouts while maintaining deterministic motion control.
An analog input that spans ±10 V allows velocity or torque commands to be issued directly from external process hardware. The controller also has 7 fixed digital inputs, and one additional channel is configurable for either input or output tasks. Multi-protocol motion data reach the controller through a Multi-Ethernet interface, while higher-level plant data can be exchanged over PROFIBUS. Feedback from resolvers, sine-cosine encoders, or serial encoders is accepted through the Multi-Encoder port, and a pair of probe inputs captures edge-triggered position events. A front-mounted Standard control panel supports local parameter entry, and the Basic interface scope matches applications that do not require extended field expansion. The integrated safety channel provides Safe Torque Off (STO), so power to the motor windings is removed without external contactors during an emergency stop.
Within the cabinet, the controller presents a mounting depth of 103 mm, a height of 241 mm, and a front width of 49.5 mm, permitting dense stacking alongside other CSB modules. Two optional slots, designated by the backplane as 2 positions, accept future communication or safety cards without enlarging the footprint. The aluminum housing shields internal electronics and maintains airflow paths that match the dimensional envelope, enabling the STO function, probe circuits, and all digital I/O to operate within specified thermal limits.
