From the FC Lightbus Card Series, it is a dual-channel Lightbus card in the form of Beckhoff FC2002.4 / FC 2002 PC-bus card. PCI Interface to Lightbus s appreciated. This card allows two and half Mbaud data transfer within twenty-five microsecond intervals of processing thirty-two bits of data, hence suitable for real time industrial automation applications. It has 4 standard optical fiber connector ports, Compatible with Z1000 plastic fiber and Z 1010 HCS Fiber. This guarantees communication over long distances in an industrial environment without interference or degradation.

The FC2002.4 provides total hardware monitoring, employing 3 LEDs in each channel, to indicate/detect the communication status for faster problem resolution. The card is also capable of initiating up to 2 PC hardware interrupts supporting card improvement for timely operations.

One of the most attractive features of the FC2002.4, on the other hand, is the effectiveness with which it can handle cycle times of more than or less than100 µsec when there is need for high speed synchronous communication.
