Product Description:
The CP2219-0020 is a panel-mounted industrial computer produced by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. This unit consolidates display, computing, and control functions into a single device so that machine operators can run visualization software, issue commands, and collect process data directly at the production cell. By combining the human-machine interface with an embedded PC platform, it eliminates separate box PCs and simplifies cabinet wiring in distributed automation layouts.
The panel uses a DVI interface that transmits video in digital-only format, preventing analog signal degradation between the integrated graphics controller and external displays. Network connectivity is provided by dual Intel i219 / Intel i210 gigabit controllers, and the two physical Ethernet ports support deterministic fieldbus tunneling at 100/1000 Mbit/s. The unit has 4 USB ports for service tools, scanners, or removable media. Local serial peripherals such as weight indicators can be attached to the RS232 interface. The system is built around a 3.5-inch motherboard that fits behind the screen without increasing front depth, and it draws logic power from a nominal 24 VDC supply. A multi-finger projected-capacitive touch sensor registers simultaneous gestures, while mass storage can be installed in one 2.5-inch bay and a separate CFast slot to separate operating system and user data.
The aluminum housing with a glass front resists cleaning agents, and the sealing design provides IP65 at the front and IP20 at the rear, allowing the display face to operate in humid areas while the rear remains inside the panel enclosure. Hardware security for encryption keys is handled by the integrated fTPM 2.0 element. Mechanical integrity is rated for shocks up to 5 G, 30 ms, which helps the unit tolerate impact loads during machine operation. The assembly weighs 7.8 kg, keeping static loads low when the unit is installed on articulated arms or light-gauge doors.
