Product Description:
The C6650-0010 is a fanless Industrial PC housing produced by Beckhoff as part of the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It is intended to serve as the central control platform in automated lines, combining motion control, logic, and HMI tasks in one enclosure. By embedding a CBxx51 mainboard and an industrial power supply in a metal chassis, the unit provides deterministic processing for PLC and NC code while maintaining the environmental tolerance required on a plant floor.
The computer’s basic load on the supply network is only 90 W, which supports energy-conscious cabinet layouts. Expansion flexibility is delivered through 7 full-length PCIe and PCI card positions, allowing the use of fieldbus, vision, or GPU cards without a secondary rack. The motherboard follows the ATX format, using a widely recognized board layout and mounting grid. An enclosure rating of IP20 provides finger-safe access while still allowing convection cooling in a dry control cabinet. Option cards up to 210 mm in length can be installed and are supported by the internal guides. Continuous operation is permitted up to 55 °C, so the PC can be placed in high-temperature zones near drives or in enclosures with limited ventilation without reducing CPU performance.
The mechanical frame measures 410 mm wide, 360 mm high, and 201 mm deep, and it weighs 12 kg, allowing installation on standard 19-inch swing frames. Two removable hard-drive frames provide hot-swap storage access, which helps when drives need to be exchanged without removing the full housing. The structure withstands 5 G of shock for 30 ms and endures a vibration load of 0.5 G between 58 Hz and 500 Hz, helping protect data integrity on mobile machinery. A relative humidity ceiling of 95 % allows use in humid production cells, provided condensation is prevented by panel heaters or dehumidifiers.
