Product Description:
The C6330-0020 is an industrial PC manufactured by Beckhoff and assigned to the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It provides embedded control performance for applications that require a single platform to execute PLC logic, motion sequences, and user interface tasks in real time. By combining PC architecture with deterministic fieldbus interfaces, the unit bridges sensor, drive, and enterprise layers inside automated cells. This arrangement allows control, visualization, and communication functions to run within one cabinet-mounted device.
The IPC is fed by a DIN-rail supply through a 24 VDC power pack, and under nominal load the electronics draw 10 A at 22 V while overall consumption is limited to 150 W. Protection against contact and dust is classified as IP20, so the computer is intended for an enclosed cabinet. Two independent NICs, listed as 2 × 10/100 Base-T, allow separation of control and diagnostic traffic. Conductors up to 1.5 mm² can be landed on the spring terminals, simplifying low-voltage distribution without oversized wiring. The system also includes a slim-line CD-ROM for software loading, while its USB buses and RS232 service port are described separately below.
The housing measures 107 mm in width, 196 mm in height, and 226 mm in depth, letting it fit into shallow cabinets while still allowing internal airflow. A passive aluminum frame keeps mass to 4.6 kg and helps the unit withstand a mechanical shock of 5 G, 30 ms during transport. Operation is permitted at up to 95% non-condensing humidity, so conformal coating is unnecessary in most production halls. Front-side I/O includes 3 × USB 2.0 for removable media and a 1 × RS232 (COM2) service port for legacy devices. A DVI-I connector is also provided for attachment to external display panels, and the front-access layout places these connections on the accessible face of the housing.
