The AX8206-0100-0000 is an AX8000 series single-axis module intended for multi-axis servo system, where TwinSAFE Logic is embedded into the product for safety features. It combines the DC link and inverter for superior motor control with a current rating of 6 A and 20 A as peak current. The module is rated to operate at a DC link voltage of up to 848 V DC and accommodates supply voltages of 100 to 480 V AC, making the system appropriate for varied industrial applications.

The AX-Bridge system permits the direct concatenation of all links including DC link, 24 volt DC control voltage, and EtherCAT communication wires from linked modules basing on the block E allowing this configuration to be walkover. The module implements the energy transfer between different axes in braking and acceleration modes and contains a common DC link used to recover the regenerative energy during brisk operations with a brake resistor module AX881x providing excessive energy absorption when necessary.

Placement of integrated TwinSAFE Logic within the system enables a number of safety functions including Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Stop 1 (SS1), where the initiations are of hardwired nature, or fail-safe over EtherCAT (FSoE) complying with the very high requirements of EN ISO 13849-1:2015 (Cat 4, PL e) and SIL 3. The multi-feedback interface provides exact control of the drives utilizing OCT, EnDat 3 and BiSS C encoders and allows the implementation of both primary and secondary feedback. The AX8206-0100-0000 is rated for use in ambient temperatures of 0 to + 40 degrees Celsius (up to + 55 degrees with power derating of the device) and possesses CE, cULus and EAC certifications allowing its use in industrial applications all over the world experiencing high precision and safety.
