The 8JSB32.D5070U600-0 is a multi-function synchronous motor to IM B5 DIN EN 60034-7 standard with simple mounting and secure clamping. The motor has an inductive EnDat 2.2 encoder system for safe and secure position feedback and is otherwise well-suited to high precision motion control applications.

Single-turn encoder version D8 provides accurate position sensing even in rotational motion over a period of time. Running at a nominal 2500 rpm rating, the motor gives a smooth, continuous rotary motion especially well-adapted in those cases where the speed factor will play a major part. The self-cooling operation of the motor makes it easy to control the dissipation of heat and the power dissipation by the casing independently of whether or not external provision for cooling and the care that goes therewith are supplied. For general applications, the U600 version is not equipped with a holding brake, i.e., the motor is well designed for continuous running without shaft locking. But where there are processes demanding shaft locking while the motor is at rest, there are other holding brake designs that can be used as alternatives, and they make it versatile.
