Product Description:
The 8B0C0320HW00.00A-1 is a low-voltage distribution module constructed by B & R Automation for the 8B0 ACOPOS Multi Power Supplies series. Within an ACOPOS drive lineup, the module provides the auxiliary bus that supplies control boards, I/O modules, and safety relays. By concentrating this function in one compact unit, it removes the need for separate DIN-rail supplies and helps keep cabinet wiring organized in high-density motion systems. It also reserves current capacity for dynamic loads such as brake release solenoids, so switching actuators are less likely to disturb connected control electronics.
For incoming logic power, the unit has 1 dedicated input channel that can carry up to 30 A continuously from an external source rated at 24 VDC. Downstream protective elements limit the overall draw to the module’s rated current of 32 A, matching the demand of multi-axis servo groupings. Conditioned energy is then delivered to the primary output rail for drives, encoders, and field sensors that may require short-term inrush support. The internal design maintains voltage stability across the load range so diagnostic logic and fieldbus couplers are less likely to reset during rapid changes in demand.
A segregated auxiliary section offers 2 independent output channels, and the secondary branch is limited to 5 A for lighter auxiliary loads such as sensor strings or panel lighting. The module is engineered for wall mounting, allowing thermal conduction into the backplate while keeping airflow open around adjacent inverters. Its internal monitoring circuitry is supplied from the same low-voltage architecture, which helps the module supervise distribution status without requiring a separate support supply. This layout keeps low-voltage power centralized and supports orderly integration inside compact ACOPOS drive cabinets.
