The CP3724-1600-0020 multi-touch panel PC is intended for industrial applications such as machine construction and plant engineering. This system from Beckhoff Automation GmbHsupports the installation of a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC operating systemin both German and English languages. The device can be fitted with a USB A socket with an IP 65 covering cap in the connection wiring area for either a USB 2.0 port or a USB 3.0 port. It also allows the integration of a UPS in the power supply without battery. The multi-touch TFT display has a screen size of 24 inches, a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 and an aspect ratio of 16:9 or 4:3.

The industrial PC can be connected to IP 65 power supply cables of 5m, 10m and 20m lengths with a screw-type M23 connector at one end and an open second end. The 40GB CFast card slot of the device can alternatively be used to fit a 2.5-inch solid-state disk with 240GB, 480GB or 960GB capacity and 3D flash functionality. The housing incorporates a passive cooling mechanism with 20cm free space around the PC to help in air circulation. It also features four threaded holes of M6 size that can be used to connect a mounting arm system.

A battery pack can be externally connected and installed in the control cabinet on a DIN rail. The mounting arm can be connected either above or below the system. There are three threaded holes under the control panel. The 16:9 aspect ratio product variant supports a pushbutton extension so that it can be used as a machine controller. The serial interface RS232 cable that can be connected to the device has a 12-pin screw type M12 connector with IP 65 rating at one end and a 9-pin D-sub plug at the other end.
