The AX5160-0000-0200 is a Single Channel Digital Compact Servo Drive that comes from Beckhoff’s AX5000 series. The AX5000 amplifiers are available in three sizes with rated currents ranges from 60 A to 170 A and are designed for 3-phase operation at 400 V to 480 V AC. The amplifiers fit consistently into other smaller parts of the arrangement of AX5000.

The AX5160-0000-0200 servo drive features flexible motor type selection. Motors with different sizes and types like synchronous, linear, torque, or asynchronous are easily accessible with the drive. The available multi-feedback interface supports all common standards. The integration of servomotor, Fieldbus connection, and output stage in a space-saving design makes the drive ideal for control cabinets in the motion power range up to 118 kW. The drive has a rated output current up to 60 A with a rated supply voltage of 3 x 400…480 V AC ±10 %. The drive also offers high-speed capture inputs with diagnostic and parameter display.

The AX5160-0000-0200 servo drive is specially designed for high-speed EtherCAT system communication. The integrated features of the EtherCAT interface are particularly beneficial for servo drive technology. In addition to EtherCAT real-time Ethernet system, this servo drive offers short cycle time, synchronicity and simultaneity. The servo drive is equipped with STO safety function that can be integrated as an option via the TwinSAFE Logic.
