Product Description

Nowadays, stepper motor applications are all around us. They are used in printers (paper feed, print wheel), disk drives, clocks, and watches, as well as in factory automation and machinery. A stepper motor is most often found in motion control systems requiring position control. The Pacific Scientific (the brand is now a part of Kollmorgen Corporation) developed high efficiency, low-loss hybrid step motors with conventional round-frame configurations. These motors are highly adaptable when it comes to installing them or assembling with stepper drives and indexers.

The H32NREA-LNN-NS-00 is a standard H32 series NEMA 34 FRAME (3,4” Dia.) hybrid conventional step motor is intended for general purposes. Standard motor means no shaft seal. The rotor is laminated, 2 stacks and mounted on a single shaft. Its inertia is 0,0170 J (oz-in-s²). The torque range for these motors is between 2,22 and 3,32 Nm and they all have a heavy-duty NEMA front end bell and large diameter shaft to support the higher output torques. The encoder is preinstalled, no feedback option.

Although the H32NREA-LNN-NS-00 hybrid stepper motor is versatile, the following factors must be considered;

-both residual and holding torque

-stalling

-starting; how many starts per minute does your application require? A low-speed AC synchronous motor is perfect for recurrent starts - up to 6 starts per minute

-vibration; with every motor there will be some vibration, but this one has an option to use vibration insulators between the motor and the mounting bracket

-temperature; the recommended maximum room temperature is 40℃ because the motor housing temperature can reach 100℃.
