Pacific Scientific E33HRHS-LNS-NS-02 is a Sigmax 1.8 Degree Step Motor from the Class B Series. This stepper motor divides a full rotation into a number of equally sized steps, allowing the user to quickly position a specific load and hold it during any of these steps. The main advantage of using Pacific Scientific’s brushless DC motors is that they offer quick, accurate positioning as well as an impressive holding torque. The E33HRHS-LNS-NS-02 by Pacific Scientific employs stepping technology that makes effective use of an open-loop controller which simplifies the overall machine design while lowering the total cost incurred to the factory owners. The E33HRHS-LNS-NS-02 weights 8 lbs and is 12 inches in width. Additionally, it only requires a 2.83 Vdc voltage to function properly. This compact design allows the stepper motor to be very useful in smaller spaces with lower voltage availability.
