Even to this day, Pacific Scientific’s E31NRHT-LNN-NS-00 model stepper motor is a stiff competitor in the 3.4 inch diameter or NEMA 34 size frame category, and a time-tested choice for a deep pool of applications.
Among the most notable features of the E31NRHT-LNN-NS-00 configuration of Pacific Scientific stepper motors is the excellent torque output of the T-type winding. This specialized winding type offers maximum torque at minimum speed, but retains the capacity for precise high speed motion too. A laminated rotor and standard smooth shaft design set the E31NRHT-LNN-NS-00 up for success with maximum power input to work output efficiency by minimizing power losses. Configured in 4-lead parallel, the E31NRHT-LNN-NS-00 puts all 5.4 amps DC of its rated current to high-yield application with an operating torque of up to 349 ounce-inches.
This motor is precise to within 1.5% of a singular 1.8 degree step, and resists slippage with a holding torque of 337 ounce-inches to ensure that your final product is manufactured with the same brand of excellence with which your Pacific Scientific equipment has been. With a low rotor inertia and thermal resistance, as well as a comfortable band of operating tolerances, the E31NRHT-LNN-NS-00 is designed to ensure that exactly what you tell it to do is what gets done: it can start and stop almost instantaneously, does so with minimal power loss to heat, and easily tolerates its own heat generation when properly installed.
