MIV0103-1-B1 indicates its proper operating state by the 7-segment LED light found at the unit display. Usually, there are two display modes, the alarm and operation status mode. When an alarm occurs, the 7-segment displays an error number for the assumption of the cause of alarm.

When the power is on, an indicator light changes on the L-side when the user sets a 1-axis specification on the drive. However, if the axis is two specification, the indication for all segments lit changes and both M-side and Land side LED lights. During the MIV0103-1-B1 start up, indication changes occur and the LED lights on the L-side only for the 1-axis specification. In 2-axis specification, indication changes occur at the M side only but the LED lights is seen is both L and M-side of the unit.

When the power is on, you will see certain individual numbers that mean something. 0 indicates the initialization phase, 1 sets up the fundamental operating environment for the control of the axis and 2, indicates the initialization process of handshake communication with the system hosting it. Finally, 6 starts the actual position for servo-link communication after which we get to the operation mode.
