The S60100-EI is a digital servo amplifier from Kollmorgen with the SERVOSTAR brand name. The servo amplifier cannot be integrated into safety functions based on EN 62061 or EN 13849 specifications. It should only be used as an integral component of electrical machinery or equipment and can be built into them.  This product belongs to the S600 series of amplifiers from Kollmorgen. The device has an overvoltage category III based on EN 61800-5-1 specifications. The unit can be connected to symmetrically grounded or earthed industrial mains supply networks with three phases. The servo amplifier has a one-year warranty.

This servo amplifier must be used to drive only brushless synchronous servo motors that are equipped with a closed-loop position, speed, or torque control. This device must make use of copper wires for wiring purposes. It does not incorporate any safety functionality that complies with IEC 61800-5-2 specifications. The product has a current rating of 1Arms. The unit also features two analog setpoint inputs and an integrated RS232 interface. The amplifier must be decommissioned only after 5 minutes of disconnecting it and blocking the main switch.

The digital amplifier is ventilated through forced convection using a built-in fan. The status of this unit is indicated by means of a three-character LED display when the 24V supply is switched on. When the device is operated using the front panel keys, the function and parameter numbers, as well as error numbers, get displayed. The shielding connections for the electrical supply are made on the amplifier directly. The product offers overvoltage recognition, phase-fault monitoring, short-circuit protection and soft-start functionalities. It comes integrated with an interference suppression filter for the 24V auxiliary supply and the supply input.
