The CB10661-MZ is a new generation industrial motor drive designed by Kollmorgen to carry out accurate motion control in the industrial servo system. This motor drove is manufactured to meet international quality standards; thus, it can operate at a top level for a long time without experiencing any major mechanical error. The CB10661-MZ motor drive is also designed to meet the operation requirements of a broad range of industrial machines, such as paper processing machines, metal forming machines, assembly systems, and lots more. The unique ability of this motor drive to operate with numerous industrial machines is due to the upgraded UCB2 digital control board present in the housing unit of this drive controller. Some other new features that contribute to the flexibility and efficiency of this industrial motor drive include; the Stegmann hiperface, sine encoder, the software resolver, and some additional input and output communication interface.

The CB10661-MZ motor drive is designed with a SERCOS communication interface which ensures the accurate and precise exchange of digital information between the controller and all other parts of the industrial servo system. Under normal operating conditions, this industrial motor drive's rated current is about 10 amperes; however, this drive can also operate with an input current as high as 26 amperes; any current higher than this can damage important components in the housing of this controller.

The CB10661-MZ industrial motor drive is about 256 millimeters long and 163 millimeters wide; it also has a total weight of about 2.6 kilograms. The motor drive is also a self-diagnostic device that can independently detect operational error and alert the operator through its light emmiting diodes, or by displaying an appropriate error message on its display unit.
