The AKM series by Kollmorgen offers a wide range of DC synchronous motors to meet specific client requirements. It features maintenance-free servos that can last for a long period. Thanks to the brushlessfeature, AKM motors require absolutely no maintenance, and they’re ready-to-go with SERVOSTAR certified servo-amplifiers. The series encompasses seven flange sizes, and up to 28 flange/stack combinations. Moreover, it offers a wide range of combinations in terms of winding, shaft, feedback options and holding brake.
The model AKM32C-ACCNC-00 is a three-phase servo motor by Kollmorgen. It represents the AKM3 family that features a flange size of 70 mm. The brushlesssynchronousmotor has a 2-stack length, and it weighs 2.23 kilograms. Featuring a rare-earth magnet material, the 3-phase DC servo is capable of delivering a highly dynamic performance. The flange mounting conforms to the IEC standard, while the angular connectors comply with IP65 standards. The brushless servomotor offers a shaft with a keyway for a trouble-free transfer of power, torque, and speed. The DC synchronous motor also features a Smart Feedback Device in place of a standard feedback resolver. The AKM32C-ACCNC-00 DC servomotor produces a standstill torque of 2.00 Nm, while its standstill current is 1.44 amperes. The servomotor can reach a top speed of 5000 RPM with its torque peaking up to 6.92 Nm. Just like the variation in size and combination, the model offers three variants with respect to the input voltage. The 230V variant offers a rated speed of 1500 RPM while its rated power is 0.31 kW. The 480V variant offers a rated power of 0.67 kW and a rated speed of 3500 RPM.
