The AKT-DT-004-000 is a Kollmorgen Automation I/O module. The 4-channel digital output module features terminals that connect the binary 24 Volts control signals, which are electrically isolated, with the actuators. The bus terminals feature up to four channels and come with LED lights used for indicating the signal state. The four channel bus terminals enable the direct connection of four two wire sensors and come with a provision for up to four ground connection points.

The AKT-DT-004-000 features a maximum output current of 0.5 Amps per channel. It comes with the reverse voltage protection and features electrical isolation of 500 volts (standard-bus or field potential). The AKT-DT-004-000 features the Ohmic, inductive lamp load type. The unit features the IP20 enclosure ensuring adequate protection from environmental conditions. It comes with a relative humidity of 95% none condensing while the unit features a pluggable wiring for all the bus terminals.

The AKT-DT-004-000 is built to ensure ease of configuration. The unit comes with a single integrated programming environment for automation, motion and all hardware. It features the Drag-and-Drop motion programming while it is installed with certified components tested to work together. The unit comes with seamless drive integration with configuration for optimal setup.

The manufacturer recommends the use of automated configuration. This unit uses the KAS Integrated Development Environment to carry out component configuration. Manual configuration is recommended only for the advanced procedures.  The AKT-DT-004-000 features a permissible ambient temperature of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. The ambient storage or transportation temperature is rated as -25 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius. The permissible relative humidity is rated as 95% none condensing while the AKT-DT-004-000. The current consumption from the standard bus is typically 20 mA (5V).
