Product Description

The AKT-DNH-004-000 digital input terminal module manufactured by Kollmorgen gains 24V control signals in binary format. These signals are then transmitted to a higher-level automation device. The transmission takes place in an electrically isolated format. This module is equipped with four-channel bus terminals that encompass various input filters. The signal status of the channels is indicated by light-emitting diodes. The input filter has a time delay of 0.2ms. There is a +24V connection point for each terminal. The product has four inputs and no outputs. The device features a typical input current rating of 3mA and weighs about 50g.

The device can be slid on a DIN rail mount and connected to the EtherCAT bus of the system where recognition takes place automatically. It is a good choice when more inputs and outputs are needed than those available in the drive used for the application. The product supports relative humidity up to95% without any condensation. The vibration resistance is in adherence to EN 60068-2-6 specifications and the EMC resistance burst conforms to EN 61000-6-2 specifications. The input terminal module comes with a one-year warranty period.

The module does not feature any fixed installation position. The unit has a protection class of IP 20. The ’0’ signal voltage has a minimum limit of -3V and a maximum limit of 5V. The ’1’ signal voltage features a low limit of 15V and a high limit of 30V. The device must not be operated at temperatures less than 0°C or more than 50°C for optimum performance. It should also not be stored outside the -25°C to 85°C limits. The input signals are of Type 1 and in adherence to IEC 61131-2 specifications.
