Product Description

The 12F5A1D-3AGA is a Combivert frequency inverter from KEB Automation with aclosed-loop system in an IP 20 / VBG 4 enclosure. The frequency inverter can be used with closed-loop drives, as well as synchronous and asynchronous servomotors that use feedback devices. It performs various closed-loop tasks with a variety of feedback cards for multiple encoder systems. The device offers customized equipment solutions according to operating requirements and conditions. Some of these solutions include cam switching, register function, contouring control, rotary table positioning, and single-axis positioning.

The frequency inverter implements an optimized KEB-SMM control algorithm, along with field-oriented control and synchronous motor control modes. The device has a 90 x 250 x 181mm size without the inclusion of an EMC filter or a resistor. It supports both AC and DC supply in a single unit. The unit is CE Certified, cUR Recognized, and cUL Listed. The unit also conforms to EN 61800-2, -5-1 standards. The inverter offers decentralized automation in drive actuators as well as synchronous speed control, position control, and speed and torque control.

The device encompasses a D style housingand a C1 type EMCfilter that supports the footprint option. The three-phase inverter has a 9.5A nominal current rating, 17A maximum current rating, 305V to 508V input voltage rating, and 400V output voltage rating. The device also features a 4kW power rating and 8/16kHz frequency. It must be stored between -25°C and +70°C temperature range when not in use. The unit is useful in monitoring short circuits and earth faults. The inverter has a fully-programmable user interface with a plain text generator. The text generator offers user guidance in six languages.
