Product Description

The required differential input for the VT-VSPA1-2-1X-V0-0 is 0…+10V. Whenever the differential input is used, both the inputs must be simultaneously connected or disconnected. For the VT-VSPA1-2-1X-V0-0 with a standard value 0%, both the required differential input and command value socket is 0 V whereas for the standard value +100% the recommended differential input and command value socket are +10V.

The internal command value of the VT-VSPA1-2-1X-V0-0 is limited to +120 % of the nominal range and the command value output (13) 0 % 0 V, +100 % +10 V. The current input for the VT-VSPA1-2-1X-V0-0 ranges from 4mA to 20mA. The internal command value signal is measured from up signals which are also called the external command value signals that are available at the current input and zero point potentiometers.

The VT-VSPA1-2-1X-V0-0 has ramp generators with various adaptable up/down ramp times. These generators limit the rise of the control output of the amplifier. The downstream amplitude limiter of the VT-VSPA1-2-1X-V0-0 does not shorten or extend the ramp time. The ramp time is altered by factor 10 using the jumper J3. The ramp time is set to a minimum using the ramp on/off input. You can only reach minimum ramp time if the internally set ramp time is much lower i.e. if the corresponding potentiometer is the extreme left turn.  Please not that an activated ramp is always indicated by a LED.

You can always extend the internally set ramp time using the external voltage presetting or an external potentiometer. These settings can be validated at the sockets. If there is a cable break, the internal default setting will be verified automatically.
