The TFM 4.1-030-300-W1-115 variable frequency drive from Rexroth Indramat is a 4 series drive controller listed in the TFM series. The variable frequency drive helps in optimizing the drive functionality and power. The unit has a 300VDC bus voltage and 30A current rating.  The drive is installed using a series connection and is positioned so that it is connected with the mains electrical supply on one side and the motor on the other side.

The key advantage of the variable frequency drive is its speed control related to energy cost savings. The drive can also help in extending the life of the motor and its bearings. The Version 1 unit has a nominal 115VAC voltage rating for the heatsink blower. It renders constant torque to ensure a wide speed control range and energy efficiency throughout the range. The device also acts as a barrier to prevent input voltage disturbances such as surges, harmonics, sags, and ripples from making their way into the motor. The variable frequency drive can be shipped anywhere in the world, with a warranty period of one year.

The operating parameters of a variable frequency drive can be programmed through one or more of four key parameters comprising an SD card, dedicated programming software, an external keypad, and an internal keypad. The speed of the drive can be controlled using networked mode or hardwired mode both locally and remotely.
