The TDM 1.2-50-300-W1 servo drive is one of the several servo drives in the TDM series by Rexroth Indramat. The drive is deployed in the manufacturer’s MAC071 to MAC160 servomotors that are used in production machines, transfer lines and NC machine tools. The unit is cooled with the help of a built-in fan that also helps to retain the ambient operating temperature. The inbuilt fan has a power consumption of 30 VA and a frequency range of 50 to 60Hz. The servo drive has a series of plug-in terminals in two rows that provide connections for motor feedback. The device features a versatile and rugged design. The product is available with a warranty period of one year.

The servo drive makes use of a personality module to address tuning needs and eliminate the need for the user to carry out this task. The device incorporates a three-phase system. The unit supports the inclusion of additional modules such as capacitors and bleeders to extend its performance for special applications. This system is controlled based on phase, frequency and amplitude. The power supply module uses the AC input voltage to generate the DC link circuit voltage of the device. This link circuit voltage can show a variation of 15%.

The AC drive supports a flush mounting style and is installed inside a housing or a control cabinet. The servo drive must be transported between a temperature of -30°C and +85°C. The unit comprises a green Tacho LED that turns off when there is a break in the feedback cable, a faulty connection or motor speed.
