Product Description

The RAC4.1-300-460-A00-W1 is one of the various main spindle drive controllers from Rexroth Indramat. The spindle drive controller helps in controlling very low speeds accurately. The unit supports a digital speed set-point to connect with PLCs. This set-point is beneficial in the case of long line distances. It also has a SERCOS interface to establish real-time communications with actual values and CNC controls comprising torque, position, and speed positioning. The interface also helps in handling various parameters. We can offer you the main drive spindle controller with a warranty period of one year.

The main drive spindle controller supports the use of an additional encoder for setting up a connection between the internal position controller and the spindle feedback. This encoder is available along with a synchronous input to help with spindle synchronization. The control cabinet for installing the spindle controller must be designed by considering sufficient safety measures. If the drive controller is cooled using air within the control cabinet, the type of protection that is required for the cabinet does not get affected.

The back wall of the control cabinet in which the unit is installed has three M8 size mounting holes. When the drive controller is in use, it emits heat over air slits that are present in the controller lid. The drive controller, by default, comes with support for the inside-air cooling method. If the outside-air cooling method is chosen using a hose, the structure of the main spindle drive controller must be changed accordingly. In the hose-cooling method, the hoses used must have the minimum length and each hose should not have more than two 90-degree bends. The heatsink and air shafts must be always maintained properly and kept clean to avoid the spindle drive controller from getting overheated.
