Indramat’s series of robust controllers with the designation as “PPC-R” units have a general-purpose platform used as an NC controller or as the PLC controller. They are characterized by their small size and are built with IP 20 rating. They can be of positioned on two enclosures with different widths, as per requirements, and have the requisite fully connected interfaces that are built as per the Indramat (SIS = Serial Indramat Interface) design. It also has supplementary features like the provision of a memory expansion module, which is blank and not fitted as a basic unit. The PPC-R01.2N-N-B2-FW controller also has an operator input bus terminal which enables specific BTA20, BTM15/16; etc. operator related input terminals to be attached and used up to a distance of 50 m, using the special cables marketed as accessories. The PPC-R01.2N-N-B2-FW controller can be stacked up in up to four units together side by side and has an easy-to-understand panel that gives out the details of types of attachments that can be made, including the digital display and location of the optional slots.
