The FWA-PPCR0*-SB1-07VRS-MS is a PPC controller firmware in the PPC Series. These controllers come with multiple axis and have both logic and motion control. Rexroth Bosch Indramat engineer design these controllers with RECO 02 as its form factor for motion control, PLCs and Input/output modules. The FWA-PPCR0*-SB1-07VRS-MS is best suited for EcoDrive03 drives when paired with visual logic and motion products. The SERCOS is the standard communication interface between motion or logic controllers and the servo drive. PPC controllers in the PPC series use GPP visual motion firmware to support and give all the required multi-axis functions.

A PPC drive can use a Bosch Rexroth Indramat visual toolkit program or and Inline I/O module. PPC Controllers are just as crucial as the operating system in a computer, but they rarely have an advanced automatic mechanism. The FWA-PPCR0*-SB1-07VRS-MS can be updated manually by a user with a small utility program. The PPC controller comes in an OPEN LOOP basic package for no encoder, cost-effective frequency converter applications that have dynamic, low-quality control requirements. The FWA-PPCR0*-SB1-07VRS-MS is a CLOSED LOOP basic package for frequency converter and servo applications that have requirements of moderate to high control performance.

The PPC controller can be used in a broad range of applications due to the optional expansion packages. The PPC Controller firmware provides a high freedom level by allowing functions and the controller behavior's open configuration. There are various operating models available in the basic package to execute the preferred movement (speed control, force control, positioning mode, or position control). The FWA-PPCR0*-SB1-07VRS-MS supports various encoder systems and protocols with installation options that are flexible. The PPC Controller also supports rotary and linear third-party motors to meet safety or special design requirements.
