The MDD090C-N-030-N2L-110PB0 is a high torque servo motor that is used in conjunction with the company’s drive control systems. The motor is used for highly accurate handling and positioning applications. The servo motor has a 23 kg mass and has a nominal speed of 2000 rpm. Together with smart drive control systems, the servo motor forms a highly responsive motion control platform. This model has a 10.4 Nm continuous current with a peak current of 72.9 A. The MDD090C-N-030-N2L-110PB0’s windings have a winding resistance of 1.2 ohms and the inductance per winding is 6.8 mH. The servo motor is particularly suitable for dynamic applications because of its low rotor inertia and high acceleration rate. The motor comes with different in-built safety features. A temperature sensing device has been installed in the motor that continuously monitors the winding temperature. This helps to avoid overtemperature failure.

The MDD090C-N-030-N2L-110PB0 has a brushless design that reduces maintenance downtimes and prolongs the motor’s service life by reducing mechanical wear. An electronic commutation has been used instead of a brushed design. The electronic commutation enables the motor to give a remarkable performance in areas where fast-paced start-stop applications are required.
