The KVR 1.2-30-3/S380 power supply module is one of the several such modules manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. This module has a DC bus continuous power of 30kW. The unit comes with a wide range of monitoring functions. The communication between the device and the drive takes place through a wire-ribbon cable. The product has a maximum regenerative power of 100kW. It makes use of a DC bus choke. The module supports various functions such as soft-start, phase monitoring, internal line protection and internal dynamic braking. The device is equipped with the ability to supply power for up to 10 main and servo drives at a time.

The product is intended to function along with modular AC drives. The unit terminates the power supply to the drives if any trouble is encountered. The module has a DC bus continuous power of 25kW and a DC bus peak power of 90kW with the GLD18 DC bus choke and the KD 24 commutation choke. The top of the front panel of the device features the line connection for AC power input and a ground rail with common grounding for all the drive controls. The connections for the bridge capacitance and DC bus choke are also located at the top. The KVR 1.2-30-3/S380 power supply module comes with a warranty for one year.

The device is intended to be installed in the back panel of an enclosure through an opening. The product renders a high continuous output with minimum heat loss. The enclosure retains only about 20% of the total heat loss. The unit supports direct connection to three-phase power systems with 380 to 460VAC voltage rating and 50/60Hz frequency without having to use the transformer.
