Many different drives with varying power requirements can be powered by one single power supply module.The KDV 2.3-100-220-300-000 is a power supply module for AC drives. It is equipped with a power rectifier that converts AC line voltage to DC bus voltage. It supplies power to the drives, and can also be used as a generator when energy is being redirected to the electrical power system. The unit is equipped with an array of monitoring functions. The power supply communicates with the drives by means of a wire-ribbon cable. Different parameters like motor feedback, current temperature of the drives, and line voltage are being monitored constantly. If a problem is detected the power supply will be cut off immediately.

Typically, 10 modular AC drives are connected to one power supply module. The KDV 2.3-100-220-300-000 power supply module can be used for continuous mechanical power requirements up to 24 kW.
