The KDA 3.2-150-3-A0S-W1 Series 3 Version 2 is a digital control unit for INDRAMAT asynchronous and frameless spindle motors. The KDA 3.2-150-3-A0S-W1 spindle drive unit receives constant feedback both from motor and spindle. A built-in microcomputer permanently checks and adjusts the position of the rotor. The control unit reacts immediately and precisely within the complete speed range. The KDA 3.2-150-3-A0S-W1 spindle drive can be used in combination with other control units allowing you to design your CNC machine exactly the way you want.

The unit is cooled by a blower mounted at the back providing for smaller switch cabinets while extracting heat energy efficiently. The AC supply voltage for the cooler is 220 V/50…60 Hz. The module runs with a rated current of 150 A. The DC supply voltage is at 300 V. The speed command value is specified at analogue +/- 10 V. The SERCOS interface makes real-time handling of your preset parameters possible. The adaption of the CNC machine is triggered by different parameters. These parameters can be entered on the integrated display unit or via a PC by using SERCOS. With SERCOS you can also create a back-up of parameters on your PC.
