DIAX04 drive controller modules are a popular choice in the automation market for their high versatility and ability to scale to meet the needs of any project. Standing behind each of those robotic solutions to industrial problems is another device: a power supply, like the HVE03.2-W030L. A single HVE03.2-W030L supply and rectification unit is capable of providing a cleaned-up stream of power to several DIAX04 drive controllers and their respective motor counterparts. Motors attached to the HVE03.2-W030L have a maximum suggested constant mechanical output of 60 kilowatts, the highest among the HVE03.2-W030L and its competing power supply type, the HVR.

HVE03.2-W030L power supply units are capable of maintaining operation in a temperature range from 5 degrees to 45 or 55 degrees Celsius, with any temperature beyond 45 resulting in diminished performance. They can withstand extreme relative humidity, and as long as they are kept free of condensation, operate sustainably in rather harsh conditions. An integrated bleeder unit attached to all HVE03.2-W030L power supplies is capable of venting excess energy passed through the device off as heat, ensuring that the final power balance of the system in which it is used is preserved within designated parameters.

Each HVE03.2-W030L also comes equipped with the monitoring capabilities necessary to detect and respond appropriately to any failure conditions that may arise, up to and including the ability to provide emergency braking for certain types of motors. Of all the power supplies created and distributed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, the HVE03.2-W030L distinguishes itself as a cost-efficient unit with an admirable performance-to-size ratio--this highly capable and easily scaled device weighs only 16 kilograms.
