The HLR01.1N-34K0-N0R45-A-007-NNNU brake resistor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth is used along with the HCS range of converters for regenerative operation. The resistor helps the converter in transforming the kinetic energy generated by the converter to the equivalent thermal energy. The compact device has a Type N construction to support free assembly. It is operated by a drive controller that is fitted with a brake chopper. The unit comes with a braking resistance of 0.45 Ohms.
