Product Description

The HDS04.2-W200N-HT03-01-FW drive controller by Bosch Rexroth must be mounted vertically on the mounting rail and tightened using clamping screws with 4Nm tightening torque. The ground connection of the controller should be established with a grounding clip at its lower edge. Its drives have a modular design that makes it possible to combine them as a compact package. The product must never be deployed in machinery like elevators, refinery plants and construction cranes. The device should also not be deployed in medical, nuclear or radioactive, food processing, mining and high-frequency applications. It must be ensured that the unit is connected firmly to the supply network because of its high leakage current.

The drive controller might move dangerously if its encoders, monitoring circuits and sensors malfunction or the cable connections are unclean and/or incorrect. The drives of the product should be in standstill mode before entering the danger zone. It must not be kept near remote control, high-frequency and radio equipment that are under operation. The device should not be opened, disassembled or cut in a pressurized state. The unit comes with Class C insulation in accordance with DIN VDE 0110 specifications. The controller features a warranty tag of one year.

This product must be programmed before startup for the connected motor to perform the application-specific functions. The device encompasses an ambient storage and transport temperature range between -30°C and 85°C. Its configuration type plate helps to identify the component in each of its slots. The unit has a power consumption of 30W for signal processing from a +/-26V source. The controller may get damaged if it is used outside the optimum conditions. The X2 connector on the basic unit can be used to connect a RS-485 or a RS-232 interface for connection with a VT-100 terminal or a PC.
