The HDS04.2-W200N-HS41-01-FW model is designed and manufactured by Rexroth Indramat for the digital intelligent control of MHD, MKD, 1MB, and 2AD AC motors. Control and monitoring of the motors may require additional sensors and actuators. The digital intelligent drive system (DIAX04) consists of an HDS drive controller, an HVR power supply module, and an AC motor. The HDS drive controller operates on the dc bus voltage supplied by the HVR supply module and the controller delivers power for motor input through the A1, A2, and A3 terminals. The drive controller with high power need must be arranged as close to the supply unit as possible. The unit can always be mounted in the vertical direction with a motor connection at the bottom of the drive controller. The controller can be identified by two type plates (type plate of a basic unit and configuration type plate). The H1 display of the unit displays the errors and warnings whereas the S1 is the fault reset key.

The model HDS04.2-W200N-HS41-01-FW comes with an RS-232 or RS-485 interface for the VT-100 terminal or PC connection. The controller takes motor feedback through the X4 port and the X3 port is used for drive lock control. The HSM01.1M firmware of the model is installed into the U5 slot of the controller and it contains the operating software and drive parameters. The model is designed to operate at the rated/peak current of 200 A, and the total power consumption of the basic unit is 30 W. The model is protected by IP 10 protection category and the ambient temperature range of the controller is +5 to +45 degree Celsius without a reduction in drive data.
