The HDS03.2-W100N-HT78-01-FW is a configured drive controller from the HDS family by Rexroth Indramat. This drive is designed to operate with 50A continuous current at 4 kHz and it can withstand up to 100A peak current. The HDS03.2-W100N is an efficient controller as the total power loss it incurs while operating at rated continuous current remains around 280 watts only. This model is a rapid-response drive and can be coupled with MHD, 2AD AC, or 1MB AC motors for the construction of control systems in printing, robotics, industrial automation, and many other multiple or single-axis control and drive applications.

The modular structure of the HDS03.2-W100N allows its quick reconfiguration. This drive controller comes equipped with a basic unit, a software module, communications module and it can also hold additional plug-in modules as well. The availability of digital I/O cards allows swift integration of this drive controller with your existing control system. This motor drive is capable of receiving motor feedback signals and motor winding temperature signals through dedicated ports. The HDS03.2-W100N-HT78-01-FW can also be connected to a PC through its RS-232 interface port.  The interconnection of multiple drive units is also possible by means of integrated bus connection terminals provided on the front panel of the drive.

This Rexroth Indramat drive controller can be deployed in harsh operating environments as it comes equipped with an internal blower for cooling purposes.  The motor power connector incorporated in this model is a screw-type with three pins for three phases of the motor and one ground pin. The starting lockout mechanism featured by this control provides security against accidental energization of the connected motor and it can be configured by the user.
