Product Description

HDS03.2-W100N-HS34-01-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is a part of HDS drive controller series. SERCOS interface is another feature of the product. The rated current is 100A.

The HI-Display – It serves to display the optical message on drive, and this is for the two-axis devices, known as HDD. There is a two positional segment display where the diagnostic number is displayed. The image is seen on ‘Diagnostic Message Priority Display’. In this display, users can find the current operation status and without any use of communications interface. However, the operating mode cannot be seen here. In case the drive can follow the operating mode but there is no command activated, ‘AF’ as a symbol appears.

The temperature of the heatsink of the amplifier can also be monitor. If this heatsink gets too hot, the drive will power down. This is done to prevent any damage. There are many reasons for the increase in hotness. If the ambient temperature is high, then the performance data is valid and can go up to a temperature of 45°C. In case the heat sink of the amplifier is dirty, it might lead to an increase in temperature. If the airflow gets prevented due to different assembly parts, the product might get heated up. In case the blower is defective, it can cause a rise in temperature.

Motor Shutdown:

Users can get the motor shutdown temperature, if the motor gets overloaded. If the torque demand on motor is much above the continuous torque level for a long duration of time, the motor might shut down. If there is a short circuit or due to disconnection in the motor temperature monitoring, the motor can shutdown and there will be an error message displayed. If there is an instability in velocity control loop, the motor can shut down.
