Product Description

Rexroth is a german company that operates in the automation field by delivering industrial devices. Rexroth provides a large collection of products such as linear actuators, CNC, electric drives, I/Os and electric motors, making innovative solutions for many different OEMs. The HDS02.2-W040N-HS54-01-FW is classified among the Indramat DIAX04 line of digital servo-drives for industrial manuafacturing. The HDS drive does not include a power supply and therefore has to be connected to a HVE or HVR device, that will have to convert AC voltage onto the DC bus of the HDS drive (shared with the whole rack).

The device could be commanded by a device via its SERCOS protocol communication port. The drive can maintain an RMS current of 20000 milliampere and can provide the connected AC motor a limit current of 40000 mA (only for a limited time). The servodrive is provided with a primary single channel verified safety Safe-Torque-Off (STO) function that permits the subsystems (servo amplifiers) to obtain the safety certifications: Performance Level d CAT 3 (ISO 13849-1) and SIL Level 2 (according to IEC 62061). The full configuration of the HDS02.2-W040N-HS54-01-FW can be carried out with the setup software connecting a common PC to the drive via one of its built-in programming ports (RS485 or RS232). The overall configuration and firmware of the drive can be easily transferred from one drive to another using the software module of the HDS drives.
