Product Description

The HDS02.1-W040N drive controller has a version code of 1. This Bosch Rexroth product is compatible with the manufacturer’s main spindle, frameless spindle, linear and synchronous kit spindle motors. The device can act as both main and servo drives. It may be required to use an additional HZK capacitor module if there's a large number of start-stop cycles. The unit is cooled by internal air circulation through an inbuilt blower. The controller may get damaged and/or cause personal injury or electric shock if it is used inappropriately or if the safety instructions are not followed.

The drive controller can have high electrical voltage if its connections are made incorrectly. There is a chance of the product getting sheared or crushed because of inappropriate handling. It must be started only if the machine in which it is installed adheres to the safety specifications requirements pertaining to the application. The electrical connection points of the device should not be touched with the power supply ON. The unit must not be operated with a residual current operated protective device. The power connection to the drive should be isolated using a start-inhibit system or an emergency stop circuit to avoid unplanned startup. It can function at a maximum temperature of 55°C with derated data.

The controller is compatible with an HZF power connection module. The housing, resistors or heatsink of the product become very hot during operation and can cause burns if touched during this time. The device is usually operated in mounting and handling systems, food and paper processing, printing and packaging machines and machine tools. The unit must be stored and transported between -30°C and 85°C. It should be installed in a closed housing or a control cabinet that complies with EN 50175 specifications. The drive controller can be shipped with a warranty from Wake Industrial for one year.
