The HDC01.1-A100N-DN01-01-FW is an intelligent automation platform with a high degree of functionality for supporting drives under challenging external conditions. A variety of automation tasks can be implemented with this platform. This universal platform can be used in multiple languages including Spanish, German, Italian, English, etc. The position control capabilities of the system are enhanced because of the adjustable drive-internal position resolution. The drive functions offered by this system also include the current limit, velocity limit, and travel range limit. The travel range limit can be set by travel range limit switches or position limit values. A drive error reaction function is also provided that includes ‘velocity command value reset’ and ‘disable torque’ options. The position control loop setting function includes automatic control loop setting, velocity feedforward, acceleration feedforward, and basic load.

The HDC01.1-A100N-DN01-01-FW allows parameterization and can communicate with the drives using drive parameters. It is also possible to parameterize the controller settings, setting the configuration, and cyclical or acyclical transmission of command and actual values. There are optional features available with this drive controller as well. These include a dynamic position switch, command ‘parking axis’, the command 'get mark position', and DISC functions. There are plenty of operating modes available with this model that include drive-controlled positioning, positioning block mode, jogging mode, drive internal interpolation, position control mode, velocity control mode, synchronous operating modes with real master axis (and with virtual axis). This device has been built to function in aggressive external environments. The system has an overall IP 65 standard ingress protection and sustains a vibration amplitude of 0.3 mm (peak to peak).
