The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW is a high-performance drive converter in the HCS01 series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is built for control sections in the BASIC range and has a Multi-Ethernet master communication module that supports different protocols, including sercos III, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT. The mains connection voltage for its operation is a three-phase AC voltage that ranges from 110V to 230V. It also has a maximum current rating of 3.3A with an insulation resistance of 10.00 MOhm at 500V DC. Thanks to its compact size, the drive converter can be conveniently mounted in a control cabinet where it is cooled by a cooling airflow within this housing.

Several standard encoder systems are compatible with the HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW because of its multi-encoder interface. These encoder systems have supply voltage ratings of  5V and 12V. They include the MSK motor encoder,  the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the MS2N motor encoder, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. The HCS01 drive converter’s Ingress Protection rating is IP 20, in line with the EN 60529 standard, meaning that it is safe from the penetration of solid extrinsic objects over 12mm.
