The DKS 1 Intelligent Digital Servo Drive with Integrated Power Supply - Basic Unit is among its growing list of high-performing drives. The DKS01.1-W050A-RL08-01-FW is a fully-functional servo drive system with reliable components. The servo drive is can be readily connected to a a 230 V 3-phase electrical power source. It has an integrated protection system in case shutting off the power supply is necessary. With its dynamic braking system, problems arising from the electronic circuitry of the drive can be reduced to a minimum. It also features a programmable error reaction, a motor holding brake, and an alphanumeric display for diagnostic processes.

The DKS01.1-W050A-RL08-01-FW forms a complete drive system if paired with the MDD digital AC servo motor. A fully configured servo drive’s components are the: basic servo drive unit, a command interface card, a software module, an auxiliary plug-in card, and a configuration label. There are four types of command interface cards available for the basic unit. These are the SERCOS interface, the ANALOG interface with incremental encoder emulator, the ANALOG interface with absolute encoder emulator, and the positioning card. These are also generally referred to as plug-in cards that connect the drive and the control.

The DKS01.1-W050A-RL08-01-FW has a rated, peak, and continuous current of 50 A, 50 A, and 25 A respectively. The rated power requirement of the servo drive will depend on the motor/servo drive combination. It also meets the standards of IP 10 protection class.
