The DKS01.1-W030B-RL01-01 is a servo drive from Indramat. It operated intelligently and digitally and has an integrated power supply. The DKS servo drive is connected to the MDD AC servo motor through two cables—the motor power cable and the motor feedback cable. The units combine to form a complete drive system. The DKS01.1-W030B-RL01-01 can be connected to a 230 V 3-phase power source directly, or alternatively, to a single-phase power source (1 x 230 V AC).

The different components of the servo motor are the basic servo drive unit, the command interface card, the software module, the auxiliary plug-in card, and the configuration label. It is the basic unit of the servo drive that can be customized for different applications through the use of cards inserted in slots U1 to U5. The command interface cards are the plug-in cards that connect the drive and the control.

To use the DKS servo drive must be installed in either a control cabinet or in closed housing according to guidelines from the protection class IP 10 per DIN 40 050. This protection class means that the device is protected from foreign solid objects with a diameter greater than 50mm. There is, however, no protection against the entry of water or from intentional penetration. Various accessories can be used with the DKS servo drive. These include the connector kits for the DKS basic unit, connector kits for configuration, connectors for individual components, and optical fiber connections.
